The South Side Chamber of Commerce invites you to be part of one of our most exciting initiatives: opening a South Side Welcome Center on East Carson Street in 2013.
The center will provide a high-visibility presence for the Chamber and reinforce the message that the South Side is a business-friendly neighborhood that welcomes professionals of all types. It will be staffed full time and stocked with guides, maps, unique South Side items for sale, and other resources to ensure an excellent “South Side experience” for visitors, new residents and businesses.
In addition to hosting Chamber events, the new facility will also be available to South Side community and development organizations for meetings. This will truly be the place where we all work together to realize the South Side’s dynamic potential.
How can you help the South Side Chamber of Commerce turn this vision into reality? Just by having fun at our first annual Holiday Mingle!
In addition to drinks, A Taste of South Side appetizers donated by local South Side restaurants, music by JAZZ3 and DJ Ben Wood, and a wealth of networking opportunities, this festive evening will raise funds for the Welcome Center through a silent auction of wonderful items and package deals from a range of local sponsors. In the spirit of the holiday season, we also ask that everyone bring an unwrapped toy or non-perishable food item to donate to The Brashear Association.
